Home skin care programs are a cornerstone of facial care. They usually include the use of glycolic products and may frequently include the newer copper complex creams, washes, or hydrating gel.
Why use facial products that contain Copper? Scientific studies have demonstrated that copper plays a vital role in skin health, by helping restore the skin's ability to repair itself. Copper is a powerful collagen and elastin promoter and plays an antioxidative role in the body. It is important in the production of glycosaminoglycans, which cement tissue components to each other. The addition of products containing copper complexes to your facial care program is worth serious consideration.
It is easy to assume that good skin care will not be able to improve a chronic, nagging problem that may have had multiple treatment failures in the past. Rashes, skin color variations, “razor rash,” and some variants of rosacea are amongst the problems that are worth “one more try."
The following is a general guideline for the use of facial care products on:
Normal to Dry Skin
Oily to Acne-Prone Skin.

For extrasensitive skin, wash with® Complex Cu3 Gentle Facial Cleanser.
Treat: Apply a small amount of Smoothing Gel all over face and throat. Allow to stay on skin for 2-5 minutes, increasing the time the gel is left on the skin in weekly increments up to 10 minutes, depending on your skin type. Rinse off well with lukewarm water and dry.
With a fingertip, dot minute amounts of Neova® Day Therapy Cream or Squalane AF all over face and spread thinly. You may add a small amount to any excessively dry areas.

Make sure that your face is completely dry before going on to the next step. If skin becomes sensitive discontinue use for a day or two. Resume the use of Smoothing Gel when skin is calmer. Use Squalane AF on sensitive areas. Use Neova Green Tea Serum to relieve chronic redness associated with rosacea, eczema, or other irritations/skin disorders. Adding GentleWaves treatments to your skin care program helps red skin, too.
